Performing a factory default reset on Allegion Schlage locks

Use these procedures to perform a factory default reset on Allegion Schlage Gateway, LEB, and NDEB locks. Resetting ensures that devices are in a clean state before setup or troubleshooting.

1. To reset the Gateway device, complete the following steps:
   1. Press and hold the small reset button using a pin or paper clip for several seconds.
   2. Wait for the LED to blink and then turn green, indicating a successful reset.
2. To reset the LEB lock, complete the following steps:
   1. Press and hold the reset button located under the battery compartment for several seconds.
      The LED flashes green twice, accompanied by a beep.
   2. Quickly turn the inner door handle three times.
      Each turn of the inner door handle is followed by a red LED flash and a quick beep.
   3. Wait for a long green LED flash and a final beep to confirm the reset.
3. To reset the NDEB lock, complete the following steps:
   1. Use a pin or paper clip to press and hold the reset button located above the battery pack for several seconds.
   2. Quickly turn the inner door handle three times.
      Each turn of the inner door handle is followed by a red LED flash and a quick beep.
   3. Wait for a long green LED flash and a final beep to confirm the reset.
