Automation engine enhancements
- Conditions for triggering actions
- To make your automation engine rules more strict, you can now add input state
conditions to them. When the trigger event occurs, the automation engine checks the
states of the inputs configured in the conditions, and then triggers the actions if the
states match. If the input states don't correspond to the ones defined in the
conditions, then the actions aren't triggered.
When you have multiple conditions, you can create groups of conditions and use the And and Or operators to organize them.
- New trigger event
- You can now configure automation engine rules with the Door - Cardholder
authorized event, so that the automation engine makes the final access
decision.
This event differs from the Door - Access granted event because the rule is run once access is authorized according to access rules, which occurs before access is actually granted. With the Door - Cardholder authorized event, the automation engine grants access and triggers the actions once all the conditions of the rule are met.
- Automation engine mode
- The new Automation engine mode setting determines which rule's actions are triggered when multiple rules are configured with the Door - Cardholder authorized event for the same door.
For more information, see Configuring automation engine rules and Configuring the automation engine mode.
Mercury integration enhancements
- Removed Mercury controller setting
- Previously, you could enable the No ACR without door setting on the Mercury controller settings page in the Synergis Appliance Portal. Starting in Synergis Cloud Link 3.2.0, this is now the default behavior and the setting is removed.
